Endian Firewall Community

Endian Firewall Community is a Linux network security operating system designed for personal use. It is a contribution to the Free Software community by Endian, a network security company based in Italy.

Comments: Endian FC uses the same installer as SmoothWall Express. There is the option at the boot prompt, provided you have a compatible hardware, to install a XenU kernel. Vyatta is the other network security distro that offers this capability.

• Web, DNS, and DHCP server
• Web and SIP proxy
• Spam filters and Virus scanners
• Static system, proxy, and traffic graphs
• Configuration backup and restore with archive encryption
• Traffic shaping
