Origin – Home Page: Taiwan – Clonezilla

Price: Free and Open Source

Comments: Clonezilla is the Debian-based Linux equivalent of Norton Ghost. It supports a wide range of file system types, including ext2, ext3, reiserfs, xfs, jfs, FAT, and NTFS. It can also clone LVM (Logical Volume Manager) version 2 volumes. The Live version, which can only be used to clone a single PC, weighs in at just 77 MB, and used from a CD/DVD, or from a USB flash drive. it is very intuitive to use.

Clonezilla server edition supports both unicast and multicast cloning, and can clone more than 40 PCs in parallel. With FAT and NTFS support, Clonezilla can clone MS Windows PCs, too.

Download/Buy: Both Live edition may be downloaded here. Using the server edition requires setting up a DRBL server, which is available for download here.
